Cool season, clump-forming grasses.
Grows well in moderate shade with moist, well-drained soil.
Provides erosion control and offers showy cloud-like flower panicles.
Keeps good color and form for winter interest.

Mixes well with other shade loving perennials such as hostas and ferns.
Moderate salt tolerance.
