Warm season grasses.
Some of the most showy and beautiful of the ornamental grasses.
Hot dry site, humidity and salt tolerant.

Flowers emerge as silky tassels and mature to fluffy plumes.
New growth later in spring.

Seed heads provide winter interest. 
As an accent, specimen or in a small grouping.
Use in borders, meadows, wild gardens, naturalized areas and water gardens.
