Ajuga ​reptans (Bugleweed)

Ajuga prefers moist, humusy soil but tolerates moderately dry soil.
Will grow in full shade but best foliage color occurs in part sun.
Provide good air circulation to prevent crown rot.
Can be cut back to the ground to rejuvenate foliage.
Good ground cover in contained areas.
Not very tolerant of foot traffic.
