Montale Gardens is a wholesale plant nursery located in Wauconda, Illinois, about 35 miles northwest of Chicago. We serve the Chicago, Joliet, Rockford, Milwaukee, and Madison areas. We currently have 12 acres of containerized plant material in production, with over 600 varieties of perennials, shrubs, roses, and groundcovers.
Our customer service and sales staff enjoys developing strong relationships, becoming a part of your team you can confidently rely on. We are dedicated to making your life easier, with a philosophy of getting you “exactly what you want, exactly when and where you want it”. Our employees are proud of their work and committed to producing the highest quality products. In 2011 Montale is celebrating our 16th year in business!
Montale Gardens is named for a beautiful mountain in Italy where our ancestors resided. It is pronounced ‘Mun-TAL-lee’. (It is enjoyable to say the name while sampling your favorite Italian dish and playing corresponding music in the background.)
